“I have my Master’s in Energy, Policy, and Climate from Johns Hopkins University, where my focus was climate/environmental justice and equity.
My thesis was on making urban green infrastructure (UGI) accessible to racialized and low-income communities in Philadelphia. From there, I was able to gain more experience working for WaterNow Alliance which helps municipalities and others to secure information and funding for green stormwater infrastructure (GSI). I am really excited to gain some hands-on experience with watershed education [and learn] how to build community relations to spread awareness of environmental issues.”
