The Discovery Center at Point Breeze, owned and managed by D&R Greenway Land Trust, houses exhibits where you can learn about the rich history of the land. Hear about the estate of Joseph Bonaparte, exiled King of Spain, and learn about the indigenous Lenape people who have lived in the area for the past 13,000 years.
Visit our Historic Garden to see vegetables and herbs grow during the Bonaparte era (1816-1839) and view our Three Sisters Garden that honors the Lenape. Our produce is donated to the local community to feed those in need.
Make sure to explore the Crown Jewels Gallery, the Natural World Room, and take a Walk-through Time.
Permanently preserved on December 18, 2020, by D&R Greenway, the State of New Jersey, and the City of Bordentown, Point Breeze is a treasure trove of stories, and we’d love to hear yours!
