Trenton River Days Fair

Trenton River Days is an event where local residents learn about the historical significance of the Delaware River along with the importance of their neighborhood watershed while enjoying a festive atmosphere that includes recreational and educational activities on the water. Water activities include canoeing on a pond and a naturalist-led pontoon boat tour of the Delaware. A horse and carriage transports visitors from the park to the docks for the pontoon boat. Non-profits and social service agencies provide timely/helpful information, which have included census workers, a mobile Covid-vaccination unit, and financial resources for home heating. Participants from a local Hispanic organization provide translation services while musicians, including a children’s orchestra and professional bands or DJs, provide the music. Fresh produce is provided by Mercer County Park Commission farms . Trenton River Days will always seek to provide relevant and practical information and services to the community.
