Spend some time outdoors among the spring wildflowers while helping to beautify the park. You’ll contribute to cleaner water quality for the Brandywine by picking up trash from Rocky Run. This volunteer event is open to all ages and is great for students looking for volunteer hours. Held rain or shine.

This is a free event. Adults, families and groups are welcome! We will provide water and snacks. Please dress for the weather and wear clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and wet. This event will be held rain or shine.

Celebrate Earth Day by giving back to your local national park! Volunteers are needed to help protect the watershed by picking up trash and debris in and around the streams that feed into the Brandywine Creek in First State National Historical Park. Participants will be provided with gloves, pickers and trash bags.
