It’s time for the 33rd annual DARBY CREEK CLEAN-UP! Join us for the best time you’ll ever have getting dirty! Refuge staff and volunteers of all ages are invited to join us for some spring cleaning of Darby Creek, and integral part of the Delaware River Watershed. Bags, gloves, and lunch provided to all volunteers! Please come prepared to get off trail and get dirty!The Darby Creek Clean-up is a great opportunity for individuals, families, groups, organizations and companies to volunteer their time in stewardship of public lands. Volunteers are an essential, and much-appreciated part of sustaining John Heinz Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum for future generations to enjoy! TreePhilly is giving away 50 trees to residents of Southwest Philadelphia! The trees must be planted on the ground on private property. Contact madilynfohr@gmail.com for more information.
