6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Come out for an evening this autumn to meet amazing birds that exist by moonlight. Owl Prowls offer an exciting opportunity to learn more about these nocturnal birds of prey. This family-friendly event is FREE and perfect for all ages.
Schuylkill River Greenways and Audubon Pennsylvania are hosting the Owl Prowl together at the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove. The evening will begin with an “All About Owls” discussion led by Rebekah Sheeler of Audubon, featuring feathered ambassadors in the form of LIVE OWLS! Next, our naturalists will take you on an easy night hike through the grounds showing participants how to identify different owl calls with a hope to hear and see these night creatures!
The walking tour will take place outdoors please dress comfortably and for the weather. It’s also recommended that each participant brings a flashlight. After the hike, fall snacks and refreshments will be available back at the center.
